Our Vision
We are committed to protecting the privacy and
confidentiality of all patients. All patients and
employees are required to sign a confidentiality
policy at the time of admission or hire.
Hospice Services
Our House
Our House in Slayton is a
4-bed facility offering
24-hour inpatient hospice care.
Our hospice team provides hospice services to
patients in Our House in Slayton, private homes,
nursing homes, and assisted living facilities throughout
Southwest Minnesota within 40 miles of Slayton. This
includes areas of the following counties: Murray,
Cottonwood, Nobles,
Lyon, Pipestone,
Lincoln, Rock, and
Redwood.

Hospice of Murray County is devoted to providing
end of life care services to patients and their
families with comfort, compassion, and dignity
during the end stages of life. We have been
serving our area for over 25 years, and we are
proud to be a freestanding, community-based,
non-profit organization.
Our Story
Nursing Home & Assisted Living
Services
•
Hospice staff members are available 24 hours a
day to collaborate with nursing home staff and
to control pain and other symptoms.
•
A patient’s needs may change as their condition
declines, and the hospice staff works closely with
the nursing home staff and physician to monitor
the patient’s condition to provide optimal
comfort at the end of life.
•
Hospice nurses, aides, and social workers can
give nursing home patients additional one-to-
one care and work closely with the patient and
family regarding the dying/death and grief
process.
